Why donate to HPILF?
HPILF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible. Donations to HPILF fund grants for law students working in unpaid public interest law positions. Part of the legal profession's code of ethics includes a commitment to providing representation to all members of society. Our grants increase access to legal services for all members of society.
HPILF grantees have worked in a variety of concentrations providing work ranging from direct services to impact litigation to public policy and everything in between. In 2007, donations to HPILF funded 14 grants that enabled Hastings law students to work for social justice and public interest. Please consider adding your name to the long list of HPILF donors and help make legal representation and access to the legal system a reality for all members of society.
